SmartClip™ Braces-We utilize the SmartClip™ appliance by 3M in our office. This unique bracket system uses technology known as "self-ligation" that allows the archwire to slide freely back and forth through the individual braces. This creates less friction which results in greater comfort for the patient and faster tooth movements. In addition, SmartClip™ brackets can reduce overall treatment time, decrease the total number of adjustments that are needed during a typical orthodontic treatment and can extend the interval between adjustments to nearly twice that of conventional braces.
Clarity™ BracesClarity™ braces are perfect for orthodontic patients wanting to camouflage the appearance of braces while still enjoying all the powerful functionality that traditional braces provide to optimally straighten teeth. Made of the same material as porcelain veneers and crowns, their translucent color closely matches the natural color of your teeth and offers the same performance as metal braces. Clarity braces are now also available with the patented SmartClip™technology from 3M, uniting superior esthetics and functionality in a single brace system.
